Nicolas Bearde
Jazz recording artist, songwriter and educator, Nicolas Bearde is the definitive jazz romantic, combining his original music with songs from the Great American Songbook and hit tunes by an eclectic group of writers such as Burt Bacharach and Jon Lucien. A seasoned and highly respected showman on stage, for the past 20 years Nicolas has delighted audiences with his vocal acrobatics as a member of Bobby McFerrin's renowned a cappella ensemble, "Voicestra," while carving out his own remarkable solo career.

Nicolas has cultivated a global following, receiving outstanding reviews and playing for packed audiences throughout the US, Russia, England, and Japan, and has performed, toured or recorded with Patti Austin, Janis Siegal, and Michael Bolton, among others.

Ken French
Musical Director and Arranger, Ken is passionate about jazz, blues, and the rich tradition of American song. With early training in classical piano, and university studies in philosophy and music composition, Ken has continued to hone his craft for over two decades on world class stages from New York to Tokyo, including the Monterey Jazz Festival and Yoshi's San Francisco. Continually inspired by performing with such artists as Mary Stallings, John Handy, Mundell Lowe and Wynton Marsalis, Ken loves to share his musical passion through the San Francisco Symphony "Adventures In Music" concerts for children, in private teaching, and with his creative arrangements and musical direction while touring with international jazz vocalist Clairdee.
